– In many cases, oral cancer is detected in its late stages, which significantly lowers a patients’ likelihood of recovery.
– Some don’t even notice any oral cancer related symptoms in the early stages. 25% of oral cancer victims have no lifestyle risk factors.
– The 5-year survival rate of those diagnosed is only about 65%.
