Amir Soleimani

DDS

Dr. Amir Soleimani earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from NYU College of Dentistry. Since then, he has pursued continuing education in a wide range of topics, including restorative dentistry, implants, extractions, cosmetic treatments, and clear aligner therapy. He values being a lifelong learner and actively incorporates new materials, techniques, and approaches into his care to provide patients with the best outcomes possible.

Dr. Soleimani has a particular interest in surgical treatments such as implants and extractions, along with cosmetic dentistry that helps patients love their smiles again. For him, the most rewarding moments are when patients can’t stop smiling after treatment and express their excitement about the results. He is also excited to now offer clear aligner therapy, giving patients a modern, convenient option for achieving a straighter, healthier smile.

Believing that dentistry should never feel judgmental, Dr. Soleimani approaches each patient with kindness, positivity, and open communication. He works closely with patients to create treatment plans that address both their concerns and clinical needs, explaining everything in simple, approachable terms. His goal is to make every patient feel comfortable, reduce dental anxiety, and build long-term trust.
Giving back has been an important part of Dr. Soleimani’s career. He has participated in pro-bono charity events and school outreach programs, providing exams and preventive education to children. These programs have allowed him to help kids understand the importance of oral health at a young age while making dental care feel less intimidating. Now living in Denver, he is excited to continue serving and becoming more involved in his new community.

Outside of the office, Dr. Soleimani enjoys spending time with his fiancée and family. He’s a big sports fan who keeps up with games and standings whenever he can. He also enjoys cooking at home, often trying out recipes from different cultures, and considers himself a foodie who loves exploring new restaurants. To unwind, he enjoys playing video games and relaxing with loved ones.

TELL US ALITTLE ABOUT YOUR LIFE OUTSIDE OF DENTISTRY—WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO COLORADO, AND HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR FREE TIME?

I’m originally from Canada but moved to Denver less than a year ago. My fiancée is from Colorado, so being here has been wonderful—it feels like home for her, and I love that we’re closer to her family.

Outside of work, I’m a big foodie. I enjoy cooking at home and experimenting with recipes from different cultures, but I’m also always on the lookout for great restaurant recommendations. I’m a big sports fan too, so I like keeping up with games and standings. On weekends, you’ll usually find me cooking, watching a game, playing video games,
or just enjoying time with family.

WHAT IS ONE PIECE OF DENTAL ADVICE YOU WISH EVERYONE WOULD FOLLOW, AND WHY?

Don’t be embarrassed about where your dental health is today—what matters is the step you take moving forward. Whether it’s flossing more often, coming back for regular visits, or just getting started after a long break, every small step makes a difference. A big part of my job is to be positive and encouraging to any step that helps improve my patients’ oral health.

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A DENTIST? WHAT KEEPS YOU INSPIRED?

My older sister is a physician, and I followed her lead into healthcare. I’ve been fortunate to have a supportive family who has always encouraged me to push myself and believed in my potential.

What keeps me inspired today are the patients who place their trust in me—especially those who may not have seen a dentist in years because of anxiety or past experiences. To be chosen as their provider and help them get back on track is both humbling and rewarding.

TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR PROFESSIONAL LIFE:

I graduated from NYU College of Dentistry with a DDS and have been
practicing since 2021. I’ve had the fortune to be able to practice in
multiple states and countries, which has helped me pick up a lot of great
techniques and tips to improve the care I provide. I enjoy surgical and
cosmetic work, but what matters most to me is working with patients in
a non-judgmental and low-stress way.

My goal is always to create a treatment plan together—balancing what
we see clinically with what the patient feels is most important—so they
leave feeling heard, comfortable, and confident in their care. Life can be
stressful enough on its own; as a dentist, I like to try and make what
could be a stressful visit and make it more relaxed and comfortable.

DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT WORK DAY:

I’ve always enjoyed the days where I can do more than one type of treatment. It doesn’t happen often, but there are some days where my schedule includes surgeries, fillings, crowns, and deep cleanings. It makes things really fun because each case is a different field in dentistry requiring different techniques. It helps me reflect on how much I have learned so far in my career, how many people have helped me get to where I am today, and gets me excited to learn more to take on more challenging cases. It’s also always a great day when someone brings in snacks!

HOW DO YOU STAY CURRENT WITH THE LATEST DENTAL TECHNIQUES AND TECHNOLOGIES?

One of the best parts of dentistry is that you never stop learning. I’ve
taken a variety of continuing education courses across restorative
dentistry, implants, extractions, and more. But some of my biggest
breakthroughs have come from casual conversations with colleagues—
picking their brains, hearing what’s working for them, reviewing x-rays
together, and then bringing those ideas back to my own patients. | like
to think you can learn from anyone and anywhere, whether that be
colleagues, CE courses, social media, or reading research articles.
